The Dragonair curled his lips in anger. "You silly brat! You still hang on to that attitude... You do not know what you're messing with!" He yelled as he brought down a Dragon Tail on Cove. By this time, Cove had regained his strength, and quickly leaped out of the way of the attack.

"That's exactly why we are here!" Spoon exclaimed, slamming the Dragonair into the air with a Shadow Sneak from his own shadow.

"It's because we don't know anything about your group that we're beating the snot out of you and risking our lives," Cove continued, glaring at the recovering Dragonair with a Leer, "We want to know what we're facing here- what danger your group presents to the city of Legadia."

"Foolish brats! It's better for you not to know!" The Dragonair screeched as he rushed at Cove with a Slam. Smirking, the Nidoran pulled back his fist, and as it covered in dark energy, lept at the incoming serpent. A resounding crash emanated from the impact, and both pokemon were flung backwards.

Both began to slowly pick themselves up, groaning, but Cove got up faster. He took a step closer to the Dragonair. "You are not fighting us seriously," Cove commented, glaring down at the large snake. "From the very start, you never had a killing intent... A strange thing, coming from a member of a group who is supposedly not against killing even themselves for the sake of secrecy. And the whole, 'I'm giving you a chance to survive'..." Cove said, trailing off. 

The Dragonair glared back at the purple pokemon, not saying anything for a while. Then he sighed, and shook his head. "You two... won't give up till you're dead, won't you..." Both Cove and Spoon, who appeared from Cove's backpack, nodded seriously. "Fine. If the other alternative is to kill you," the Dragonair rose, "Then I'll tell you what I know. After all... I don't kill kids."

Cove and Spoon glanced at each other then back at the Dragonair in surprise. "This is a nice change in attitude," Cove said, raising an eyebrow. The Dragonair glared at Cove.

"We are the Harbringers of Unity... By the commands of our one and only god, as our name suggests, we seek unity," the Dragonair explained, "Unity... Which includes Legadia."

"You guys plan on taking over Legadia?!" Cove asked, surprised.

"I thought that was kinda obvious already," Spoon mumbled to herself.

"Yes. That is part of the end goal," the Dragonair nodded. His glare renewed in energy as he rose again, saying, "Now that I've told you all this, you had best leave. Right away."

"Fine, fine. You're damn insistent, you know," Cove said, shrugging his shoulders.

"Why are you so against killing us, and even for telling us your plans, yet join such a group?" Spoon asked, before Cove began to turn away.

The Dragonair remained silent for a moment, his face dark. "It wasn't much of a choice..." He finally said, turning to the two again. "I hope you aren't forced with such decisions in your lives," he said to them. Neither Cove nor Spoon said anything in response, a little awed by the Dragonair.

"W-well," Cove broke the awkward silence, "I guess we'd better hit the road, and deliver this intel right away." Spoon nodded, and the Nidoran got on all fours and began to walk away, the Dragonair watching them go. He began to turn away as well before Spoon popped out of the backpack again and waved to the Dragonair.

"Thanks mister! We should spar again sometime," she called to him happily.

"Shush up you stupid," the Nidoran quickly exclaimed, picking up his pace. Sappy scenes were not his thing. 

The Dragonair shook his head. There was no sense in Legadia kids, was there.
